The Complete Metal 3D Printing Solution
The Metal X 3D print system is an end-to-end manufacturing solution featuring significant benefits compared to the traditional manufacturing process. Use this metal 3D printer for fully functional metal parts at up to 100x less expensive than traditional fabrication techniques such as machining or casting. The printer uses metal powder bound in a plastic matrix to eliminate safety risks, while also enabling features to reduce your part weight and cost. The Metal X prints parts in many materials including Stainless Steel, Titanium and more.

The Metal X is safe to use and accessible to all. At 5-10x less expansive than other metal printing system, it also requires fewer safety precautions thanks to the waxy polymers binding the metal powder, eliminating the risks, personnel and training associated with loose metal powder.
Eiger software makes 3D printing simple. Easily import, manipulate and slice your 3D models directly in a web browser with this cloud-based software that comes with every printer. Printers from Markforged also have built-in touchscreens to help you connect to Wi-Fi, start parts and manage your printer.
The Metal X prints with a wide range of materials from tool steel to copper, and continues to develop new materials. The variety allows you to get the hardness, strength and other specifications you need for your specific application.
The Metal X was designed for excellent part quality and a seamless user experience. Combining best-in-class software, material research and an advanced motion system, it reliably delivers industrial-grade metal parts.
Create your part in you 3D CAD software, then upload the STL file to the Markforged Eiger software and select your material. Eiger will slice your part and automatically generate support as necessary.
Metal powder bound in waxy polymer is printed layer by layer into the shape of your part. Files are automatically scaled up for printing to compensate for the shrinkage that will occur during sintering.
Once your parts are printed on the Metal X, they are placed into a debinding fluid within the Wash-1 which dissolves much of the plastic binding material from the metal powder.
After washing, parts are sintered in a furnace at approximately 85% of the metal’s melting point, burning away any remaining binder and fusing the metal powder into a solid metal part ready for use.
The Metal X is a safe, easy-to-use metal 3D printer with a small footprint. It features advanced failure detection and can be controlled and monitored from the cloud using the Markforged Eiger software.
Optimized for efficiency, safety and ease-of-use, the Wash-1 is used in the post-printing part of the ADAM process and features debinding and drying stations. Parts can be washed in parallel, maximizing your throughput.
The Sinter-1 option is a high-performance, high-value furnace used in the post-printing process and is ideal for smaller parts. It processes any of the Markforged metal materials in as little as 26 hours.
Featuring a large active hot zone, the Sinter-2 option is the perfect solution for batch production and large parts. It can sinter metals in as little as 30 hours.
EXBuild provides industrial 3D printing systems to help manufacturers and engineers create strong, real working parts in a day instead of weeks or months, using tough breakthrough materials for demanding jobs.
